Bruce Springsteen to perform at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium

Bruce Springsteen and the E street Band is scheduled to perform at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium for two nights ( 30th and 31st May, 2008). This will be the first time, this venue will be used for a concert. WebSite : www.brucespringsteen.net

“Magic” was released last october, and is best described by Bruce Springsteen’s manager Jon landau as “a high energy rock cd”. Some of the cool titles include : Radio nowhere, Girls in their summer clothes, Magic, Gypsy Biker… etc.

London Nightlife – Ministry of Sound – southwark

This popular night club opened in 1991 ( public opening : 1992) and has been extremely popular with youngsters. They have one of the BEST sound systems in the world, ample space for dancing and reasonably good DJs. Eighty Four speakers located on the main dance floor create a high energy environment. The club was founded by DJ Justin Berkmann, James Palumbo and Waterhouse. They have an “official” government style logo, designed by Marc Woodhouse. Over the years, The nightclub has expanded to a number of countries including Singapore, India, Taiwan and Australia. They have a record label focussing mainly on Dance & Trance genres. Before the club was formed, the venue used to be a Banana warehouse.

Traveling to Europe – Airport transport options

For international travelers landing at Heathrow or Charles De Gaulle , getting to the city center could pose a challenge, if you are not aware of all transport options available. Recently, a friend of mine landed at heathrow and took an expensive cab ride to a destination, which she could have easily reached by hopping into a local train (tube) and would have cost her just couple of pounds. Here’s some transport info on some major cities in Europe :

This beautiful park is located at the south of the Thames, couple of miles from the marble arch with a great variety of trees. A wonderful winter garden is being built next to the Sun Gate.

After you stroll around and feel hungry, there are couple of good places to eat :
La Gondola al Parco by the lake provides a calm view, while you savor nice italian cuisine and icecream.

You might want to check out the Tea Terrace kiosk ( between the zoo and the fountains) – for fresh sandwiches.

Get off at Battersea Park station
another option is to catch “44 bus”.

Get off at Sloane Square and catch Bus # 452 or 137 or you may want to take a slow stroll through Sloane street and Chelsea Bridge road. The distance is approximately one kilometer.
