London Nightlife – Ministry of Sound – southwark

This popular night club opened in 1991 ( public opening : 1992) and has been extremely popular with youngsters. They have one of the BEST sound systems in the world, ample space for dancing and reasonably good DJs. Eighty Four speakers located on the main dance floor create a high energy environment. The club was founded by DJ Justin Berkmann, James Palumbo and Waterhouse. They have an “official” government style logo, designed by Marc Woodhouse. Over the years, The nightclub has expanded to a number of countries including Singapore, India, Taiwan and Australia. They have a record label focussing mainly on Dance & Trance genres. Before the club was formed, the venue used to be a Banana warehouse.
